The start of an on-going relationship with the Pilion Trust that began in 2013, this project was the feeder initiative for the installation titled ‘We’re All In This Together’.
2 months of weekly workshops were carried out at the charities winter shelter. A group of 7 homeless young people were taught the skill of silk screen printing and produced a series of tote bags, tshirts and original pieces of art work that they sold, at 100% profit.
In exchange, they shared their experiences and opinions on the housing crisis. Their testimony features on the jackets that comprise the installation.
