Evil Usable Commons: The Marketplace of Ideas is an anti-institutional space where we can gather and discuss our institutionalised mind-set and consider how it might be possible to break free. Among the columns, podiums and other disembodied phallic symbols of hierarchy, meritocracy and power, questions will be posed about the extent to which we replicate oppressive structures and conventions even as we try to build something new.

Each day, the Evil Usable Commons will feature new stimulus which exhibition, and online, visitors can respond to. Some days there will be questions to answer, some days there will be tasks to complete, each action generating a collective ecology of knowledge production.
